Mirranda Climbing Hydrangea

Hydrangea anomala petiolaris ‘Mirranda’

The variegated, dark green leaves of this vigorous growing, deciduous vine (or groundcover) have yellow margins fading to creamy white.  Fragrant white lacecap blooms grace the plant in late spring to early summer.  Mature specimens develop exfoliating reddish brown bark adding to winter interest.

Cold hardiness zones: 4 – 8
Light needs: Full to Partial Shade
Water Needs: Needs regular watering – weekly, or more often in extreme heat.
Special feature: Year-round interest, Showy Fragrant Flowers, Dramatic Foliage Color

Care Information
Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a greneral purpose fertilizer.  Provide support such as a wall or fence.  Prune annually in summer after flowering to control size.

We’ve just added these varieties, along with a few other nice specimens to our already extensive selection.
